South India Biblical Seminary is a graduate and post-graduate school of theology of the Wesleyan-Arminian persuasion whose purpose is to combine in the leadership training programme deep spirituality, outstanding scholar­ship, and loyal adherence to biblical Christianity, as essential ingredients in the preparation of men and women for Christian minis­try.  S.I.B.S. insists that only a Spirit-filled ministry can meet the demands of the day, and there­fore it emphasizes the fullness of the Spirit, a heart-cleansing that delivers from the inner pollution of carnality and instead fills with the love of God, thereby empowering the believer for victori­ous living and fruit­ful service.
