Location

The Seminary occupies a clean, quiet campus of fifteen acres at a distance of two kilometers from the commercial town of Bangarapet in the south-western corner of Karnataka, near the Kolar Gold Fields.  Bangarapet is a junction on the Southern Western Railways main line from Chennai to Bangalore.  The town also has good bus services from Bangalore.

This region, at an altitude of about 800 meters, has a moderate climate, and an average rainfall of about 60 cm.  In this area four languages are commonly spoken, i.e., Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.  This provides good opportunities for most of the students to communicate the Gospel to the people of their own languages, as a part of their practical field work assignments.
